Maintaining the Drip Reservoir on Your Water Cooler
The Water Delivery Company receives the same query time and time again and in response to that we’ll use these notes to give some simple guidelines to the most often . A fundamental problem facing a person who has just taken delivery of their first water coolers is ‘The Drip Tray is Full – How Do I Drain It?’.gradually the drip reservoir of the water coolers will overflow and if you don’t empty it then you’ll end up with water on the floor – damaging a laminate or wooden floor or easily damaging a carpet – so its important to drain the reservoir regularly. Again if the tray isnt emptied regularly one possible result is the accumulation up of algae and bacteria – the drip tray looks uglyand unhealthy. So to start – take off any grill which may sit on top of your drip tray. Many water coolers have this and they are there just to support the cup as you pour water. With a littel firm pressure the drip trays can easily unclip allowing the grill to be removed. Once the grill has been removed you’ll have a firmer hold on the drip tray itself. Again using firm pressure pull the drip tray towards you it unclips easily. Empty out any water into a bucket or sink. Give the inside of the drip tray a wipe with a cleaning cloth and you may like to use a little gentle cleaning fluid or detergent at this stage just to disinfect the drip tray and maximise its hygiene level. Once the drip tray is drained you can simply push it back into its home using firm pressure. You’ll feel the snap as it clips back into home. Then replace the grill if the reservoir has one and you’re ready to go!
